If you are using Windows, verify that the CD Audio is turned up properly by following the steps below.
Check volume
Verify that a Sound Icon Sound icon is on the bottom right hand side of the screen and that your sound is working properly elsewhere. If present, double-click the sound icon to bring up the sound properties. Verify that the CD-ROM or CD Audio option is turned up mid way or more and that it is not checked on Mute.
If the volume is properly set check Multimedia Properties by following the steps below.
Check audio cable
If following the above instructions your CD Audio still is not working properly, verify that the audio cable is connected properly.

- Open Control Panel
- Double-click the Multimedia icon
- Click the CD Music tab
- Verify that CD Music Volume
- Verify that the volume is turned up mid-way or more.
Check audio cable
If following the above instructions your CD Audio still is not working properly, verify that the audio cable is connected properly.
